Spongebob SquarePants DLC reaches Minecraft

In partnership with Nickelodeon, Mojang released this Tuesday (26) the official SpongeBob SquarePants expansion for Minecraft. The DLC is a robust and faithful project of Bikini Bottom. Each of the features of shows and postcards can be fully explored.

This expansion is the most immersive animation experience and includes several playable skins such as SpongeBob, Patrick, Squidward, Sandy, Gary, Mr. Krabs, Plankton, Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy. The characters will be played in the water simulation and will live in different neighborhoods and have their own routine with many memorable NPCs.

The player can make crab cakes and sell them to customers, shout plankton shots, hunt jellyfish, and learn to drive. These sites will be just some of the maps available and will be available at select caves and other locations, as well as a large number of businesses and hotels.

Another novelty of this cartoon is the audio system. All Bikini Bottom villagers will have their own voice acting and the ability to make nostalgic sounds. The soundtrack will sound like the originals, and promises to leave a lasting impression on fans with many unforgettable songs.

SpongeBobs DLC is available for consoles and PC with exclusive Minecraft missions and an original campaign. To get it for free, you must own the Bedrock Edition (sold separately). The extension is considered reassessed until September 16.
